It's a coincident, is it? Almost every character i like has a monster hidden inside. For example, Kakashi Sensei looks like acool guy but behind one of his eye lays a lethal sharingan (copy) eye that later one evolved to the 'mangekyo sharingan' which is the highest form of sharingan jutsu. Sharingan is a fearful jutsu so he rarely use it to beat his enemy. Onime no Kyo who has a pure mibu blood, has a deep bloodlust desire inherited from his ancestors, but he managed to control that hidden 'talent' quite well. Seijuro Hiko has always fearful even to Kenshin. The latest one, Abel Nightroad is the most fearful creature I've seen so far. When his nano-machine krsnik activated in 80%, he turned to a real monster nobody can stop.There's also seen a glimpse of sadness in every character. Hiko is always alone, i guess it happened after a tough decision in the past. Kyo, a man with mysterious past, always sad when failed to protect Yuya. Sanzo never forget the murder of his teacher. Or Kakashi always late because his daily visit to Obito's grave. Or Urahara who always smile but behind the sweet smile he has to face the uncertainty of exile. Or Abel can't forget his past sins... neither He likes his krsnik form..
I don't think it's a coincident.
